PUBLIC HEARING – PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO BURLEIGH COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE

Notice is hereby given that the Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing during a special meeting to be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 5:15pm local time in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City/County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, ND.


The Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commissioners will at this time hear all interested persons regarding a proposed amendment to the Burleigh County Zoning Ordinances relating to:

Article 8 Special Uses, Section 28 Agricultural Recreation

If you are not able to attend this public hearing, you may submit your comments in writing to Burleigh County Building, Planning, Zoning, PO Box 5518, Bismarck, ND 58506-5518, or email at burleighcobuilding@nd.gov. Letters and comments must be received by 8:00 am on August 26th so they may be distributed to the Commissioners before the meeting. Letters and comments received after 8:00 am, August 26th, will be distributed at the meeting. The amendment is available for review at the Burleigh County Building, Planning, Zoning office at 221 N. 5th Street during normal business hours.

Notice is hereby given that the Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing during their scheduled meeting on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 5:15pm local time in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City/County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, ND. The Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commissioners will at this time hear all interested persons regarding a proposed subdivision.


Petitioner is seeking approval of a subdivision and zoning change from A-Agricultural to R1- Rural Single Family Residential of the following described property:


Part of the NW 1/4 of Section 29, Township 139 North, Range 78 West, Burleigh County, ND
