PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE – Special Use Permit

Notice is hereby given that the Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing during their scheduled meeting on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 5:15 pm local time in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City/County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, ND. The Planning and Zoning Commissioners will at this time hear all interested persons regarding a request for a special use permit to Burnt Creek Farm to hold events at their location. Burnt Creek Farm is located at:

          Burnt Creek Township, Section 24, Pt SW 1/4 – Tract #1

          Addressed as: 11501 NE 41st Street, Bismarck, ND

Maps of the location, petition and the proposed plans for the Burnt Creek Farm are available for review at the Burleigh County Building, Planning, and Zoning Office, 221 N. 5th Street, Bismarck during regular business hours.

PUBLIC (Meeting) NOTICE - Burleigh County Home Rule Charter Committee Meeting

Date:          May 7th, 2024

Time:         7:00 pm

Location:   Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC,  1640 Burnt Boat Rd, Bismarck, ND

The Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC will be hosting an open forum on May 7th, 2024, to discuss the 1% sales taxes measure that will be on the 2024 Primary ballot. A quorum of the Burleigh County Home Rule Charter Committee and County Commission may be present at this event to answer any questions the public may have.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Burleigh County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing during their scheduled meeting on Monday, May 6 at 5:00 pm local time in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City/County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, ND. The Board of Burleigh County Commissioners will at this time hear all interested persons regarding a proposed section line vacation.

Petitioner is seeking a section line vacation described as follows:

The section line to be vacated is located between Section 27, Range 75, Township 137 and Section 22, Range 75, Township 137

Notice is hereby given that the Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing during their scheduled meeting on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 5:00 pm local time in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City/County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, ND. The Board of Burleigh County Commissioners will at this time hear all interested persons regarding a proposed amendment to the Burleigh County Zoning Ordinance:

        ARTICLE 21 – FP – Floodplain District Regulations

A copy of the amended Article 21 can be obtained at the Burleigh County Building and Planning office during normal business hours.
