Apple Creek Road Construction Update

Apple Creek Road between 66th St SE and 80th St SE remains closed due to extra repairs.  Final grading has wrapped up and base-lift asphalt paving is scheduled to begin Tuesday, August 4^th and is expected to be finished by the end of the day on August 5^th (weather permitting).  After the base layer is in place, crews will add side-slope material and topsoil along both sides of the roadway.  The top lift of asphalt and chip seal are anticipated to be applied during the last week of August, again dependent on weather.  Once final surfacing is complete, the roadway will be reopened to traffic.  A signed detour remains in place.  Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the area!
