Burleigh County has described the policies within this manual as a guideline in order to ensure the fair and consistent application. The policies are not intended to create, nor are they interpreted to create, a contract of employment between the County and any of its employees.
It is important to note that the policies and practices outlined in this manual are subject to change and may change at any time with approval from the Board of County Commissioners. The County reserves the right to add, delete and/or revise policies as deemed necessary.
Social Service employees are also covered by the North Dakota Personnel Merit System regulations.
